    Job Title: Senior Integration Developer at Steampunk

    Overview

As a Senior Integration Developer at Steampunk, you will be part of our expanding DevSecOps team, focusing on developing APIs and integration capabilities to link data, services, and systems for the benefit of our clients' missions.

    We are seeking individuals with expertise in cloud platform services, the ability to grasp business needs, and execute complex integrations.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical expertise and analysis for specialized applications and operational environments
    • Translate business integration requirements into actionable execution plans
    • Design REST APIs using OpenAPI on the Spring Boot and Camel stack, with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform knowledge valued
    • Extensive experience with integration across various systems, including RDMS, SAP, SharePoint, and ERP systems
    • Proficient in EIA patterns, Microservices integration, and handling transactional systems and large data volumes
    • Design and implement secure integration networks
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify integration needs
    • Plan and manage release activities, assessing risks and resolving issues
    • Ensure timely delivery of application releases
    • Report project progress, changes, and key plans to stakeholders
    • Conduct release readiness and milestone reviews
    • Provide regular release reporting to project teams and stakeholders
    • Resolve build issues and enhance release processes
    • Maintain release repository and key information

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • U.S. government Security Clearance eligibility
    • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field OR Bachelor's in a non-IT field with 2 years of relevant IT experience
    • Certification related to the deployed product
    • 5 years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
    • 5 years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
    • 5 years of experience with programming or scripting languages
    • 5 years of experience with integration technologies like MuleSoft
    • Experience in developing API Management solutions and micro-services

    Preferred:

    • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
    • AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification
    • Azure Developer Associate Certification
    • MuleSoft Certifications: Integration Architect - Level 1, Platform Architect - Level 1
    • 5 years of application development experience in an Agile environment
    • Proficiency in docker containers and platforms like Kubernetes
    • Experience in designing, implementing, and documenting APIs
    • Utilization of CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI
    • Implementing Automated Testing frameworks for APIs and integrations
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative and interpersonal skills
