    Position Overview

    We're searching for a seasoned and strategic business development leader to expand our market reach and accelerate growth. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who possess a blend of technical proficiency and business development skills. You will leverage your technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership skills to solve complex customer challenges and drive new business through strategic partnerships and effective sales strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the identification, qualification, and pursuit of high-value enterprise opportunities within our current markets and expansion into new high-growth market segments.
    • Analyze market trends and develop deep industry expertise to inform strategic planning.
    • Develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our platform and solutions.
    • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies and cultivate strategic partnerships that expand market reach and accelerate growth.
    • Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring successful solution implementation and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with clients and partners to identify their business challenges and map new opportunities that leverage Ailas current offerings and influence Ailas long-term product roadmap.
    • Work closely with internal teams:
    • Marketing: to generate new sales and marketing ideas, content, and tools - including customer and partner presentations and product information - and to execute events and other outreach campaigns to identify and engage targets, and build the company brand in the marketplace.
    • Product, Engineering & Operations: to help define product requirements based on customer needs, prioritize projects, and manage product development timelines to maximum customer satisfaction.
    • Sales & Customer Success: to collaborate on large accounts and ensure success through all stages of the sales funnel
    • Management Team: to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
    • Effective participation in relevant trade shows and other external events.
    • Be an active participant in external Marketing and customer prospecting opportunities and represent the business in the public and industry arena.
    • Generate GTM strategies and sales planning with sales forecasting/metrics to create a predictable new business pipeline.

    Qualifications

    • At least 7 years experience in a similar role; preferably scaling a startup.
    • Bachelor's or Masters degree in business or technical field.
    • Proven track record of success in enterprise sales, ideally within the B2B technology sector - managing and closing large, complex deals with Fortune 500 companies from start to finish.
    • Solution Selling Skills: Proven ability to translate complex technical features into clear business benefits and tailor solutions to address specific client challenges.
    • Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle - from lead generation to customer success to negotiation and closing - with experience creating proposals, presentations, and contracts.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong, long-term relationships with key industry players and strategic partners.
    • Track record of leveraging market dynamics, customer insight, and competitive dynamics to demonstrate or create a stronger product value-proposition.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with senior executives and explain complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to travel extensively when needed.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
