    SUMMARY
    :


    Security minded, experienced, cloud-first, Senior Systems Administrator that will assist with ensuring that the ELC is continues to leverage the appropriate technology to secure its data, user credential and other sensitive information.

    Will be responsible for most of the monitoring of production level infrastructure and applications that aren't hosted or managed by third party vendors.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Responsible for the overall health of company's IT infrastructure including patching, firmware upgrades, patch management, antivirus, Mobile Device Management, backups, etc.


    Responsible for the management and deployment of projects assigned by the Vice President of IT and manage them from beginning to end maintaining detailed documentation.

    Responds to staff/contractor inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems. Recommends or performs minor and mid-level actions to correct problems. Refers major technical problems to Vice President of IT for appropriate action.

    Provides guidance and mentoring to IT Specialists who may require assistance solving difficult tasks

    Ensures that Coalition always adheres to appropriate compliance regulations as required by various governing organizations.

    EDUCATION AND/


    OR EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor'sdegree (B.A.) froman accreditedfour-yearcollegeor university

    .

    Eight

    years of experience in computer science or equivalent

    , is required.

    Familiarity with industry standard software vendors such as Microsoft, Sophos, Adobe, etc.

    Familiarity with industry hardware manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo, Cisco

    .

    Knowledge of encryption technologies and protocols such as

    Bitlocker

    , PKI, SSL,

    Ipsec

    , IKEv2, etc.

    Solid knowledge of virtualization platforms, specifically Hyper-V

    .

    Familiar with network and routing protocols such as NAT, RIP, VLANS and VPN.

    3 years utilizing and managing and deploying instances in IAAS services such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.


    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    Proficient with IAAS/PAAS Providers such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Compute.

    Proficient in networking and managing firewall appliances and switches.

    Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, VPN, cloud storage, Cloud PBX, Microsoft Azure, Visio.


    Must know how to deploy MFA and integrate future services into existing IDP leveraging protocols such as Oath, Saml, Kerberos and PKI security.
