Eaton's IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking a Tool and Die Designer. This position is based at our Carol Stream, IL facility.

The Tool and Die Designer is responsible for creation of tool design specification sheets, BOM's, drawings, 3D data and participate in tool design reviews.

Decisions and recommendations typically associated with 3D CAD operations.

This position is overtime eligible.

Design tools, within specified time frames, to company standards
Must be able to interpret blueprints in order to verify conformance of parts to prints using measuring instruments
Education/training in tool design.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Mechanical aptitude must be strong to assess the viability of complex part interrelations in a complete tool assembly model.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in Tool & Die Design and/or as a Tool & Die Maker
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Journeyman Tool & Die Maker Certificate
Experience in AutoCAD
