Pivotal Curve Health is looking for a compassionate, attentive, and dedicate Behavior Therapist to work with individuals that are diagnosed with autism and other learning disabilities. The right candidate will be responsible for collaborating with behavior analyst to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. Behavior Therapist will consistently monitor behavior, implement applied behavior analysis methods/procedures, record and collect data on progress, engage with clients and their families in their daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills, empathy, compassion, respect the needs and autonomy of children whom they are working with, and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care (1:1) to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor and/or behavior analyst.
• Collect and record data on behavior.
• Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Carry out clinical assessments and other administrative duties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attend ongoing training to increase ABA knowledge.

Requirements

• College degree or High School Diploma and 2 years experience working children
• Must have own reliable transportation, and valid driver's license, auto registration, and auto insurance
• Available in the early afternoon/ evening (e.g., Noon to 8:30 pm)
• Experience working with children
• Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 3–8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
