Position Summary:
Driving specifications of HI-MACS (solid surfaces), Viatera (quartz surfaces), Teracanto (porcelain), and HFLOR in the commercial and national account segments using strategic methods throughout the commercial value chain including architectural and design firms (A&D firms), facility managers in addition to targeted end-users and national accounts.
Some projects will require working them cradle to grave and securing the purchase order with the commercial fabricators. This positional will also work with commercial fabricators as needed to secure & drive revenue.Identifying the key areas of growth in the market, presenting and conducting presentations of LX Hausys products through company sponsored presentations and sample distribution.
Reporting and tracking projects utilizing Salesforce, Construct Connect, and local resources. Success in the role will require working closely in partnership with the Territory Managers (TM's) in the territory.Communication with them on a constant basis, either daily or weekly is common to discuss & close projects and drive sales.
Additional duties/responsibilities assigned as needed to drive revenue and profits through the commercial and national account segments in the assigned territory.
Requirements
Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Design, Art, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
Direct experience selling luxury vinyl flooring for at least 5 years.
Current knowledge of the commercial & national account segments in assigned territory and/or metro markets preferred.
Proven sales & business development experience and account management experience in at least one of the following segments: National Accounts, Hospitality, Food Service, Retail, Entertainment, Recreation, Healthcare and/or Education.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent oral and written, communication, presentation and organization skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
CRM Experience, preferred
Excellent selling skills and strong commercial marketing knowledge
Results driven with the energy and focus to achieve goals/KPI's
Must be able to think and work independently
Strong creative, analytical and interpersonal skills
Proven event planning skills
Experience working industry trade shows and lunch & learn events
Proven effective time management, scheduling & planning skills
Understanding the basics of the commercial value chain and project tracking
Proven skills working as part of a team & the ability to thrive in a team environment
Logistically savvy about territory management; navigating efficiently and conscious of budget expenditures
Proven Networking skills primarily through business associations.
