Manager/Sr Mgr of Local Marketing*Up to 15% of month (3-4 days per month) in field in your local Hub (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Miami)
As the
Manager/Sr Mgr of Local Marketing ,you will be responsible for driving new customer growth for our 90+ Hair Color Bars utilizing local marketing tactics, with a priority focus in one of our top DMAs.
You are an expert at deploying localized marketing strategies with field organizations to achieve new customer and business sales targets.
You are a results oriented marketer that enjoys being hands-on with the field, loves building relationships and deepening community ties.
This role has the opportunity to make a huge business impact on Madison Reed's growth as we accelerate our Hair Color Bar business in 2024 and beyond.
The base salary range for this position is between$105,000 and $125,000 . At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
What you will do:
Identify, develop and execute local marketing strategies nationally and in prioritized locations that drive new service and retail customers to our Hair Color Bars
Develop strategy and lead local Hair Color Bar leadership for execution of local marketing activations related to: Store Grand Openings; Local Playbook; Events; Partnerships; and Local Activations
Develop and pilot new and innovative local marketing strategies - measuring for ROI and feasibility of scaling to entire fleet
Partner with our locations' property management teams to identify and execute paid and complimentary marketing (newsletters, digital placements, social media) to increase awareness and drive new clients with their mall audiences
Spend up to 15% of month (3-4 days per month) in the field: training field leaders on marketing playbook, executing marketing activations including events, building relationships with neighboring businesses for partnerships, sourcing new client leads
Support paid local marketing (local partnerships, paid mall placements, sponsorships, street teams, hyper-local magazines, etc) in partnership with acquisition team
Recurring and Ad-Hoc performance analysis and reporting against KPIs
Keep a pulse and evaluate new marketing solutions and innovations for retail channels
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree
Reside in one of our primary hubs: Los Angeles area, San Francisco Bay Area, New York City area, Dallas/Fort Worth area, Miami/South Florida area
Willingness to travel up to 15% of month (3-4 days per month), primarily in hub of residence
Current driver's license and reliable transportation
4 or more years experience in a retail marketing role
At least 2+ years in service business marketing (i.e. salon, spa, fitness, medspa)
Experience in understanding how to drive appointments for a 4-wall traffic
Experience in subscription, membership and/or package sales businesses
Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work effectively in fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively across departments and teams
Proficient in Microsoft & Google Suite - MS Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc
Bonus industry experience:
Multi-location fitness, beauty or wellness studio business; franchise
