Description

Utilize AutoCAD, SDS2, & Advance Steel software to create detailed structural steel and miscellaneous metal drawings according to project specifications and standards.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and produce accurate drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with industry codes, regulations, and quality standards, such as AISC and AWS.
Coordinate with fabrication shops and subcontractors to resolve design-related issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project correspondence for reference and audit purposes.
Provide technical support and assistance to construction teams during the fabrication and erection phases of projects.
Stay updated on advancements in drafting technologies, software, and industry best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Demonstrate proficiency in both structural and miscellaneous metal detailing to effectively contribute to a variety of projects.
Prioritize workload and manage deadlines to deliver high-quality drawings in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in SDS2 and Advance Steel software preferred - AutoCAD required
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
Certification or formal training in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is advantageous.
