Position Requirements:
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Registration
- 1-3 years Radiology experience in Hospital/Trauma environment
- 1+ years of experience specific to Special Procedures
- Knowledge of sterile techniques
- Must be able to recognize needs and behaviors of different age groups
- Proficient in operating basic angiographic equipment
- Basic computer skills preferred
- CPR Certification within six months of employment
- IEMA License
- Able to respond to work requests with short notice
- Willing to work overtime as requested
- Able to work under stressful conditions
- CPR Certification required
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
- Flexible in starting times to meet demand
- Must be available to take call every third week cycle

Purpose:
As a Radiology Technologist at Advocate Aurora Health, you will assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, helping in various diagnoses and treatment options.

Accountabilities:
- Performs technical functions related to equipment and contrast media
- Assists in maintaining laboratory records
- Produces quality digital images for diagnostic purposes
- Assists radiologists in imaging and revascularization procedures

Addendum:
- NIH Stroke Scale annual education
- Compliance with mandatory DiMedici Computer Program
- Maintains professional decorum and attire according to departmental standards
