Sodexo is seeking Full-Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend; a 388-bed acute care hospital located in Springfield, Oregon, one of two Sacred Heart facilities in the Eugene-Springfield area owned by PeaceHealth.

In this role, the selected candidate will work in all areas of the hospital (inpatient) providing care to inpatients with a variety of disease states.

This is also a great opportunity to cross-train with the clinical team in disciplines that allow a higher acuity level.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian with prior experience in an acute care setting
• Licensed in Oregon (or license eligible);

* perform patient screens, assessments, education and documentation utilizing and Utilize Epic EMR documentation;

• Implement care plans and counsel patients and family members as needed;

* work In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, a strong team of dietitians in a challenging acute care setting;
* be involved as a preceptor for dietetic interns, new hires, interns and peers.

Located in Springfield, Oregon, one of two Sacred Heart facilities in the Eugene-Springfield area owned by PeaceHealth.

The RiverBend facility is home to a 24-hour Level II trauma center including full medical/surgical care. The hospital also provides full women's and children's services, including labor and delivery, and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute is located within the facility, as is the Oregon Neurosciences Institute. RiverBend is the only hospital outside of the Portland area to offer pediatric surgery.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision


Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
