- Perform fabrication, installation, maintenance, inspection and/or repair of bus, transformers, breakers, switches, and related substation, transmission and distribution equipment.
- Perform duties such as facilities maintenance and repair.
- Operate cranes and heavy equipment and operate all tools and equipment pertaining to this department, ensuring proper care of tools, cleanliness of work area and economical use of supplies.
- Associate degree or certification in Welding Technology.
- Four (4) years¿ experience in the welding & fabrication industry.
- High degree of mechanical ability and fabrication skills
- The ability to read and work from blueprints and/or drawings.
- The ability to acquire a Commercial Drivers License within 6 months.
- The ability to weld aluminum bus from elevated platforms.
- The abilities to arc weld, MIG/TIG weld, and oxyacetylene weld.
- Team oriented personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial Driver¿s License.
- Crane operator certification
