**Position Summary:***Performs a variety of accounting related functions. Responsibilities include analyze, reconcile, record, and report financial information in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; maintain adequate internal controls; and provide financial information necessary to aid management in decision-making analysis.*

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Assist with period-end closes, including review of general ledger and preparation of period-end response. (i.e. account reconciliation' s for bank balance sheet accounts, etc.

Maintain and general ledger and inventory system and physical counts

Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory

Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues

Monitoring inventory transactions

Work with procurement/supply chain to locate and dispose excess/obsolete inventory

Maintain and general ledger and calculation of monthly depreciation

Report monthly departmental budget spending

Perform weekly general ledger interfacing; format and reconcile reports

Update and maintain lease management software

Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan and re-forecasts

Assist in coordinating internal and external audits and required tax reporting. Prepare ad-hoc and special projects as deemed necessary during the year

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**Experience and Minimum Qualifications:**

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting function. Experience with generally accepted accounting principals

Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced functions in Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong time management and multi-tasking ability

Ability to provide deliverables with strict deadlines

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

**Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:**

Prior home improvement experience, direct to consumer, manufacturing or related industry experience

Prior experience with NetSuite or comparable system preferred

CPA credentials preferred
