    GridironIT is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer, Senior local to Reston, VA or Charlottesville, VA
    Top Secret clearance is required.


    Job Description Summary Key Role:
    Manages, administers, supports, and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

    This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience designing, developing, securing, and optimizing cloud service access and solutions for cloud tenants
    • Experience with supporting product software development, design, and implementation of applications and services using software programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Bash, Ansible, Python, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML
    • Experience with supporting implementation of Cloud tenant solutions
    • Hands on experience with engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial Cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
    • Experience installing applications within Platform as a Service (PaaS) Cloud technologies
    • Top Secret clearance
    • HS diploma or GED
    • Ability to achieve DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
    • Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
    • Experience with the US Army, DoD, or intelligence community systems
    • Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines
    • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree with computer science, information technology or Mathematics course work
    • AWS Solutions Architect Certification
    • Active DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification, including Security+

    Clearance:

    • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
