Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop cost estimates of new and proposed productsAnalyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendationsConduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulationsPreparation of weekly and month-end reporting of cost activity and inventoryConduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in cost accounting rolesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailEffective communication and presentation skills
