- Takes weekend call forhospital ultrasound needs on a rotation - Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm;and Weekends/Holidays 8am - 12pm

- Demonstratescustomer service excellence by anticipating and responding to theneeds of patient, providers, employees and othercustomers.
- Radiology AssociateDegree is preferred.
- Completion of a Radiologyfocused program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with sufficientclinical scanning experience to be eligible for certification withARRT and/or RDMS.
- Graduate of AMA approvedSchool of Radiological Sciences, Ultrasound Technology or otheraccepted and approvedequivalent.
- Graduate of anaccredited Ultrasoundprogram
- Minimum of (1)year scanning experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular and BreastUltrasound preferred.
- Minimum of (1) year ofexperience in a clinical ultrasound settingrequired.
- Must have experience in and abilityto perform all types of General Ultrasoundprocedures.
- Minimum of (2)years verifiable OB/GYN or MFM ultrasoundexperience.
- ARDMS orARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within oneyear.
- LRST/ARRT Radiologic Technology Licensepreferred.
- Certification in OB/GYN or Breastpreferred.
- Registration by a credentialingbody for Ultrasound Technologist required.
- Preferred registries include: American Registry of DiagnosticSonographers (ARDMS), CCI or ARRT.
- BLS(American heart Association) is required.

This position must beable to handle the movement, set-up and operation of medicalultrasound equipment. The Technologist must be able to handle allpatients according to the needs of that patient. This positiontakes direction from the Radiology Medical Director and understandspatient assessment and treatment procedures as outlined by policy.The position provides patient assessment information to theRadiologist as needed,. The technologist is trained in Basic LifeSupport and provides when asked to do so. The position has aresponsibility to appropriately document procedural information inthe patient's medical record.
