    TITLE:

    REPORTS TO:
    Director of 21 Century Programs


    FLSA STATUS:
    Exempt


    PRIMARY FUNCTION:


    To implement the strategies and requirements as outlined in the 21st CCLC, focusing on curricula that will support our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship.

    The Program Coordinator also provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff; manages budgets and controls expenses as assigned.

    This individual will work a variety of stakeholders and must have excellent communication skills.

    DUTIES:
    Promote educational programs among all members
    Coordinate the implementation of evidence-based academic and enrichment programs
    Supervise employees in projects related to the 21 CCLC project and assist in the hire, evaluation, remediation, and professional development of all program staff
    Collect, review and store data and other information to fulfill program requirements
    Establish and maintain student records, files, and documentation as required
    Consistently strive to improve program quality
    Participate in school faculty/staff meetings and school functions as appropriate
    Work closely with teachers and administrators of Black Mountain Elementary to ensure the success of the program participants
    Facilitate meetings with the Advisory Council
    Closely monitor grant deliverables and alert supervisor to any discrepancies
    Coordinate and oversee evaluation process
    Ensure accuracy. quality and timeliness of required reports and submitted information
    Oversee program budget and purchasing
    Identify grant opportunities and look for avenues to sustain program at the end of the grant period
    Work with Advisory Council to measure impact of all programs and provide data for evaluation as well as development opportunities
    Ensure all membership and safety requirements of Boys & Girls Clubs of America are being upheld at the Black Mountain Club
    Ensure all KDE standards are being upheld within the Black Mountain 21CCLC program
    Participate in all Boys & Girls Club and KDE 21CCLC trainings and professional development opportunities as requested
    Perform related duties as assigned


    ABILITY TO:
    Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
    Work collaboratively in a team setting
    Display initiative and work independently
    Pass a drug screen and criminal background screen


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    4-year degree
    Experience working with students in K– 8th grades
    General technology knowledge
    Valid Kentucky driver's license
