    POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:


    This position is responsible and accountable for strategic and management aspects of ITC's sales and marketing programs ensuring all financial, programmatic and operating systems meet all established targets.

    This position reports to the VP/DS and is a member of the sales team supporting the mission and goals of a "Best in Class" sales and marketing program.

    As a managing member of a dynamic sales and marketing operation, the Account Manager will oversee and assist in the daily operations of the sales and marketing program including the need to foster relationships and communicate with clients, owners, staff and vendors/suppliers, make decisions based on sound sales and marketing principles, monitor the progress of sales and marketing programs within his/her team and is accountable for meeting all financial and metric goals, targets and expectations.

    This is a regional travel position and client sites will vary. Travel throughout certain metropolitan areas and across different regions of the United States is required. As a national company, opportunities to solicit companies across the country are also available.

    Manager duties and responsibilities:


    The manager will need to communicate with clients, staff and vendors/suppliers, make decisions based on sound sales and marketing principles and monitor the progress of sales orders and other factors to keep a project on schedule.


    Important duties and responsibilities include:
    Strategic and management oversight of all aspects of the sales process to drive business opportunities by maintaining productive relationships with current/former clients and prospective education/governmental/non-profit clients and associations, evaluating their unique business requirements, and establishing contractual sales orders and agreements that provide best-in-class design, planning and support for their audio visual needs
    Creating long- and short-term business plans with clients, including execution on value-focused sales strategies with targets for sales, planning, milestones and adherence to deadlines and allocating resources
    Analyze sales quotes to conform to client budget requirements as well as control company costs to ensure project budget compliance and expected company profitability
    Ensure client expectations are being met or exceeded by creating realistic sales quotes and orders and taking responsibility for ensuring successful outcomes with a consistent focus on revenue growth and concrete business results
    Communicating with company leadership to keep project designs, timelines and goals in alignment with staffing, inventory and purchasing
    Researching industry standards and practices and other AV integrator companies to develop new methods and designs in maintaining current clients and attaining new customers
    Coordinating and managing staff associated with the sales and marketing process as designated by company standards and structures
    Cultivating a common purpose and teamwork among various company units and ensuring timely and effective communication with those units including, design, operations, accounting and procurement and purchasing
    Assisting purchasing agents in establishing and sustaining vendor/supplier relationships to develop contracts/agreements, negotiate pricing, track orders and maintain a broad-base of supplier channels
    Advising the VP/DS on matters related to program budget, forecasting and planning, the financial impact of initiatives on existing resources, and opportunities to enhance revenues and decrease expenses
    Performing other duties as assigned

    Manager required skills and qualifications:
    Successful candidates should possess at least five (5) years of enterprise selling experience with a proven track record of successful sales in audiovisual or IT services and integration, other corporate sales or related commercial experience and be familiar with sales and marketing principles and practices


    Additional experience required includes:
    Experience negotiating sales quotes, contracts and governmental purchase agreements
    Able to work with complex strategic accounts including contact with clients' points-of-contacts and key decision makers to build and maintain effective, ongoing client relationships
    Proven track record of supervising and managing an effective and driven sales team
    Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
    Ability to make important decisions under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment
    Exceptional strategic and problem-solving skills
    Superior organizational and time management skills
    Friendly and approachable
    Valid driver's license with less than two citations in last three years and reliable
    transportation

    Manager experience preferences:
    AV industry experience
    Familiarity with desktop software programs and enterprise systems such as G Suites, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite
    A desire to progress in job knowledge and qualifications
    An ability to keep a cool head when placed in stressful situations
    Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing or related field
