WeVote has several open volunteering positions for QA Automation Engineers to help strengthen American Democracy via our Web and Mobile applications.

These are long-term, VOLUNTEER opportunities with an Oakland, CA-based non-profit organization.

It is expected that you will commit to no less than 10 hours per week for the next six months.

What You'll Do
Your role as a QA Automation Engineer is towrite scripts and create automation environments for repeatedtests. Using different automation tools, you will design, test,and deploy effective test automation solutions. Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with aminimum set of code.

You can demonstrate functional expertise with:

Selenium
Appium
BrowserStack
Java Script
Web Driver io

You are striving for personal excellence, and want to do meaningful work that will make a difference.
You are located in the US
You have experience working in a remote team environment
A willingness to work with and support other volunteers.
You can commit to 10+ hours per week during our core team hours M-F 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. for the next 6+ months
