- Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and notifying management of any shortages.
- Conducting minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and repairing minor fixtures.
- Following safety protocols and using cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in custodial or maintenance services.
