New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) - 6 Cancer Center Oncology
Winston Salem, NC, United States
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible and qualifies for a $10,000 sign–on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements
Where You Will Work
6CC is a 40 bed oncology unit that has 20 beds dedicated to our Leukemia service and 20 beds dedicated to our HOA service.
They focus on treating the side effects of cancer treatment ie:
nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, pain management, fevers/infections, failure to thrive, etc. We provide compassionate and supportive care to our patients and their families.
We're Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Less than 1 year RN Experience (New Graduate)
What You'll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
