Join Ingredion where innovation impacts lives worldwide Without even realizing it you ve experienced our work in your favorite chocolate your pet s food the paper you write on and your everyday snacks As a global powerhouse across more than 60 industries we harness the potential of natural ingredients to transform lives Whether you re just starting your career or bringing years of experience there s a place for you here to make a real difference Be part of our team that values a wide range of perspectives and is committed to shaping a better world with every product we create The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostics and repairs on the mechanical and electrical systems of the plant s machines and equipment including but not limited to hydraulic steam chemical piping systems In addition be required to inspect equipment diagnose malfunctions through preventive maintenance plans analyze equipment failures assist in determining root causes A successful applicant will be responsible for working safely efficiently as possible in our continuous operation facilities What You Will Do Troubleshooting mechanical electrical machine failures by disassembly inspection components Utilizing technical documentation aids troubleshooting Accurately keeping maintenance records critical quality-related plant equipment Determining root cause failure correcting condition prevent reoccurrence Auditing maintenance program identifying opportunities improvement Repairing failure current procedures recommend alternative methods repair Developing documenting performing preventive predictive tasks maximize reliability Generating reports outside acceptance criteria Performing precision tasks alignment checks measurement clearances balancing rotating equipment Executing Motor Plant lubrication maintaining guidelines Maintaining procedures critical quality-related plant equipment Understanding complying OSHA rules Participate training safety programs Use Company computerized management system SAP record access information Demonstrating safe habits proper care tools Ensure other duties assigned Acquiring knowledge appropriate
