    Description

    Role:

    • Design, develop & mass produce components & devices in the field of consumer electronics.
    • Collaborate closely with customer's technical personnel; for example, PD/PE/TPM/EPM/SQE/tooling engineers.
    • Drive factory cross functional teams from design phase to mass production of high-volume product.
    • Understand and present engineering reports to important customers, such as Design For Manufacturing (DFM), & Failure Analysis & Corrective Action (FACA).
    • In-depth understanding of key manufacturing challenges, provide suggestion & solution to problems in design, mass production, quality & operation.
    • Has strong background in product testing for electro-mechanical interconnection and final assembly.
    • Understand customer requirements & culture, drive factory team for on-time & satisfactory delivery.

    Qualification:

    • Engineering degree in BSME or equivalent degree from a four-year college or university is required.
    • 2+ years of engineering experience, experience with design/manufacturing/automation is preferred.
    • Understanding of mechanical engineering/design concepts.
    • Understand how things are made, and typical fabrication lead time.
    • Solid background in engineering, willing to self-learn new stuff; for example, new design concept, new product, new mfg. process... etc.
    • Knowledge of Industrial Engineering disciplines is a plus.
    • Experience in Project Management is a plus.
    • Able to apply knowledge of statistics, when researching, collecting and analyzing data.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in technical writing.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong understanding in engineering drawing (ex. GD&T), proficiency in CAD software is a plus.
    • Fluent in English & Mandarin.
