    What You Will Do

    A Senior Software Engineer in this group will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. You will develop or update several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with interactive systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines. You will report to Team Lead, Platform / Attractions Systems.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in Python
  • Experience with GCP or other cloud provider
  • Predictive modeling experience
  • Experience in Airflow or another data workflow management tool
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Design Patterns
  • Experience with revision control software, such as GitHub and GitLab
  • Experience with Model Ops and setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSQL, or Oracle or databases

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience SNOW
  • Knowledge of building RESTful or GraphQL APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture
  • Experience with Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • Experience with , Angular, React, and Vue
  • Experience in cloud deployment in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Jira & Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development methods
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development
  • Experience in monitoring and data visualization with ELK/Splunk

    Required Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background

    Preferred Education

  • Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background
