As a

Dispatch Specialist

you will answer requests (calls and/or emails) for medical equipment and enter them into the systems.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exceptional customer service to customers, patients, drivers, and operations associates

Take orders/requests and dispatch the appropriate resources following policies and procedures

Enter patient/customer information into software systems and maintain accurate records

Ensure information entered from hospice groups is complete and accurate; obtain any missing data

Update operations dispatch board

Set up ETA's on deliveries and pickups and ensure scheduled deliveries are handled in a coordinated and timely manner.

Upsell extra equipment to create efficiencies

Assist with inventory and share knowledge of stock and equipment transfers

Recommend changes to improve service, better clarify policies or procedures and any other matters that may occur as appropriate.

Miscellaneous office projects and other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills required

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

The ability to multi-task and prioritize
