    Description

    **Job Title:** Investor Communications Specialist

    Summary:

    • Develop strategic communication plans to effectively convey the company's financial performance, growth strategies, and value proposition to investors and analysts.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
    • Manage the investor relations section of the company website, ensuring timely updates of financial information, press releases, and other relevant content.
    • Attend investor meetings and prepare meeting notes and timely follow-ups.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Investor Communications

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders in the financial community.
    • Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences, and other events to promote the company's investment thesis.
    • Respond to inquiries from investors and analysts, providing accurate and timely information while ensuring compliance with disclosure regulations.
    • Conduct market research, trend analysis, monthly and quarterly investor reporting, and prospecting, and maintain IR databases.

    Relationship Management

    • Collaborate with the Finance team to analyze financial results and market trends, providing insights to senior management.
    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and processes across the organization, including creating materials to support earning calls, analyst meetings, and shareholder engagement.
    • Monitor and report on stock performance, peer comparisons, and investor sentiment.

    Financial Analysis and Reporting

    • Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, Marketing) to ensure consistent messaging across all communications.
    • Support crisis management efforts by developing appropriate investor communication strategies when needed.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
    • 5-10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, preferably at an investment bank, asset manager, or within investor relations.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including the ability to effectively engage senior leadership.
    • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Even-keel, detail-oriented individual with a client-first mindset and a strong sense of integrity.

    Compensation: The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut and NYC is $132,000 - $165,000. Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
