    Description:


    • Performs Logistics function for the entire company in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and in accordance to defined SOX controls


    • Arranges and coordinates all aspects of domestics and international freight shipments


    • Advises purchasing department of discrepancies in receipts


    • Stocks all purchased goods in proper locations


    • Tags required equipment with asset tags and maintains database on equipment location


    • Ships assets to vendors for repair and maintains appropriate documentation


    • Performs physical inventory counts and assists in both internal and external audits


    • Updates department SOPs, Forms, and Flowcharts


    • Responsible for obtaining return material authorizations and updating receiving system


    • Assist in stockroom order management


    • Daily posting of receipts into receiving system


    • Maintain timely and accurate receiving files which include parking slips, Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs), and bill of ladings


    • Maintains, manages and reconciles the third part shipping system on a weekly basis


    • Delivers packages to appropriate people, along with interoffice mail and external packages

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum 2-4 years previous warehousing experience in Biotech.
    • Customer service or prior receptionist experience is beneficial


    • Experience with online shipping systems and operating in a SOX environment required


    • Prior experience with ERP (Oracle, SAP, Point Purchasing) receiving systems a plus


    • Ability to operate pallet jacks and other related material-handling equipment


    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds


    • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills


    • Ability to multi-task and accommodate multiple requests effectively


    • Ability to compare numbers and read invoices and labels


    • Receive all deliveries and notify purchasing of any discrepancies


    • Ship packages following IATA standards


    • Keeps extra company supplies stocked and organized


    • Must be able to organize, prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple assignments, and perform those tasks with accuracy and in the timetable requested


    • Must act professionally and friendly at all times in greeting and dealing with visitors, vendors and employees


    • Must have a demonstrated proficiency in working with a PC platform and MS office, including Outlook Calendaring, and familiarity with basic office equipment (phones, copiers, postage-meter, facsimile machines)
