    JobPurpose:
    TheDepartment's OIT is seeking the services of experienced Systems Administrator.
    The Candidates will be required to successfully complete tasks in relation tothe Scope of Work.

    Primary JobDuties/Tasks:
    Duties

    andResponsibilities

    will include but are not limited to:


    Collaborate with stakeholders tounderstand business requirements for remote access.


    Design thearchitecture, topology, and components of the Always On VPN solution.


    Define theserver placement, load balancing, and redundancy strategy.


    Set up andconfigure the necessary VPN servers and infrastructure.


    Implement PublicKey Infrastructure (PKI) for server and client certificates.


    ConfigureVPN profiles and policies for different user groups and devices.


    Implementstrong authentication methods, including multi-factor authentication (MFA).


    Ensurecompliance with security protocols and encryption standards.


    Monitor andmitigate potential security vulnerabilities.


    Documentthe entire VPN architecture, configuration settings, and procedures.


    Create userguides and training materials for employees and IT staff.


    Providetraining sessions to educate users on connecting to the VPN.


    Architectand implement an end-to-end B2C strategy. All DOR application dependenciesshall be included in the strategy. All DOR services shall be included in thestrategy, considering all user flows. All federal and state statutes must befollowed. Single sign on and MFA will be required.


    Identifies,designs,

    implements, and maintains a secure identity and access managementsolution


    Identifies,prioritizes,

    resolves, and documents technical operational issues related tothe enterprise server and active directory environments


    Maintainoperating systems lifecycle of enterprise servers


    Identifies,documents,

    and implements enhancements and automations to the AD domain


    Review andmake recommendations for AD process improvements


    Review andmake recommendations for Group Policy improvements


    Review andmake recommendations on cloud readiness of enterprise systems


    Provideknowledge transfer to technical and non-technical staff as needed


    Providestatus reporting of assignments


    Ensure theavailability and continuity of the Windows servers and domain


    Follow allDepartment, ISP, and team defined standards and procedures


    Completeall required policy training and acknowledgement courses


    Performsother related duties, as required.

    RequiredExperience

    Five (5)years of experience in Active Directory Administration.
    Five (5)years of experience with Cloud Administration.
    Strong understandingof Azure core services and their functionalities.

    PreferredQualifications
    Thesubmitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, andabilities in the following areas:

    PowerShellscripting.
    DevOpsprinciples and Software Development Life Cycle.
    Strongunderstanding

    of virtual networking and security protocols.
    CostManagement and Optimization.
