    This role is with Starship, a division of Optum Financial focused on making benefits better through human-centered design and product innovation.     Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide excellent quality coverage
    • Design, develop, reuse, and execute test plans, processes, and quality practices
    • Collaborate as an active member in small cross-functional teams in refining and planning user stories
    • Provide guidance and expertise in the development of acceptance criteria for user stories to develop shared understanding and clear business success
    • Aid in bug triage processes for understanding and future prevention
    • Coach and advocate for quality practices
    • Mentor and train potential junior members of the team

    Required Qualifications:

    • 6+ of experience testing mobile and web applications in a scrum methodology setting
    • 6+ years of experience with SDLCs, and STLCs
    • 6+ years of experience communicating effectively with Product Managers, Developers, and other peers

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of experience with test case management frameworks such as Xray
    • 2+ years of experience writing, running, and maintaining Cypress Automation
    • 2+ years of experience writing, running, and maintaining Detox or Maestro Automation
    • 2+ years of experience with JIRA/Atlassian tools
    • Exposure to running and testing with mobile emulators on MacOS hardware

    California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
