OVERVIEW

Our client is an organization with a robust portfolio and team of under 40 that works collaboratively to achieve succcess through serving premier LUTRON lighting systems solutions. With sales amounting over $12 million, they are expanding their team and looking for a skilled CAD Draftsperson.

This position is integral to operations, providing expertise in interior design with a specialization in lighting. Our client is the go-to group for upgrades, and they pride themselves in their commitment to excellence and innovation in interior design lighting solutions. This is an in-office position requiring close collaboration with our team, including operations and the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics and drafting designs utilizing CAD software, with a focus on Lutron systems.
• Serve as a Lutron product and system expert within the company, providing insights and teachings to team members.
• Collaborate with the interior design team to integrate Lutron systems seamlessly into project plans.
• Stay abreast of upgrades and new features in Lutron products and other similar CAD software technologies, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide technical support for Lutron systems, advising on both existing setups and potential upgrades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsperson, particularly with electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of Lutron systems; additional experience with similar CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is highly desirable.
• A background in interior design is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to blend technical schematics with aesthetic designs.
• Capacity to instruct and guide team members on Lutron systems and related upgrades.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working closely with operations and various departments.
