The Dental Clinic at Front Range Community CollegeThe Dental Clinic at Front Range Community College is part of the Dental Assisting program which helps prepare students to become invaluable and contributing members of the dental profession.

This Clinic is open to the community at a reduced fee and allows our students to gain the experience of being in an office and interacting with patients prior to going out on their externship.

Who You AreAs the Clinic Dentist, you will provide restorative dentistry to include amalgam and composite restorations, very simple extractions, some crown and bridge, and prophy's & SRP's.

This is a part-time position with some oversight of the students hours/week for 5-8 weeks during the Fall, Spring, Summer or all three semesters if desired).

SELECTION PROCESS:
Position will remain open until filled.
Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed application package submitted by candidate.

A resume; A letter of interest; A copy of official transcripts; A one-page statement of your teaching philosophy; and A list of courses and the semesters you have taught (if applicable)

Please note:
This is an on-campus position.

All qualified candidates will remain in a talent pool for future consideration and need to be residents of Colorado by the first day of employment.

SALARY:
$50/hour

BENEFITS:
Variable hour employees will have their hours measured on an annual basis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only for the following benefit period

Graduate of Dental SchoolCurrent D.D.S. or D.M.D., CPR, DEAWelcoming. Respectful. Inclusive. Together, we are FRCC.

Part-Time HourlyPart-Time employees are eligible for sick leave. You will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked. To learn more about sick leave, please visit System Procedure 3-60b.

RetirementFRCC employees contribute to Colorado PERA, which provides retirement and other benefits to employees of more than 500 government agencies and public entities in the state of Colorado.

PERA is the 21st largest public pension plan in the United States and is a substitute for Social Security; FRCC employees do not contribute to Social Security.

PERA eligible employees are required to contribute a fixed percentage of their salary to the pension.

Student employees are not eligible to participate in PERA.FRCC and the State of Colorado also offer three tax-deferred supplemental investment plans, including 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plans.
