    Description

    PMG is a provider-led, administratively supported organization, providing a diverse array of clinical and specialty services responsive to patient, provider and community needs.

    The Respiratory Therapist assists the physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy. Provides instruction to patients regarding lung function tests, pulmonary function tests, inhalators and nebulizer treatments. Assists and educates patient and family in home care needs as it pertains to Respiratory Therapy (O2, Vests, etc.).

    Collaborates with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients visiting the CF clinic within Providence Medical Group.

    Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of PMG and Providence Health & Services.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited and approved program. Or
    • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited and approved program.
    • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
    • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with cystic fibrosis and/or pediatric patients.
