Summary

You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (O/A) in the Logistics Division, Base Services Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.

Duties

• You will conduct research on information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns.
• You will receive materials requests, requisition items to replenish stocks, obtain substitutes or may receive an exchange, i.e., unserviceable repairable assemblies.
• You will conduct extensive technical research of catalog information to located more cost effective, available substitutes and new products, and complete supply acquisitions through commercial sources and requisitions through the DoD supply systems.
• You will retrieve and enter data into multiple databases.
• You will determine stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs and projected depletions.
