Job DescriptionThe Okonite Company, an employee-owned Manufacturer of cable products has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Machinist in a fast-paced, manufacturing support role for our Santa Maria, California facility.
Minimum requirements Include: High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum 3 years experience working as a Machinist. Duties include: machining parts, jigs and dies for repair and fabrication of plant equipment, shop tools and manufacturing dies. Use of precision measuring equipment, technical manuals and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions required. Industrial trade school or college courses preferred. Must have own tools - Annual Tool allowance provided.
