Description
Electrical Distribution Design EngineerResponsibilities Include, but not limited to:
Design specifications for the rebuilding or reconductoring of lines or poles; new services; fiber optics and obtain permits as required.
Complete staking sheets for line department to utilize during construction, to include material, assembly construction and distance required.Provide billing estimates and invoices to members as needed.
Identify and resolve problems associated with ROW, member concerns or operational issues directly related to new or existing services.
Answer member questions regarding service, installation and other Cooperative policies and procedures related to Engineering.
Assist with work order inspections and submissions to RUS.
Be available for on-call duty as required by schedule, including storm situations.
Qualifications Include:
Associates or bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Technology or GIS. Surveying experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to interact and communicate engineering designs to technical and non-technical personnel both within and outside the Cooperative.
Experience with computer networking, computer-based mapping and SCADA systems is desired.#J-18808-Ljbffr
