    The Value Added Benefit Account Manager will maintain Managed Medicaid channel growth through continued development of relationships at managed care organizations.

    This position will focus on account growth, encouraging utilization through field-based case managers and identifying opportunities for program expansion.

    This role is also responsible for leading Medicaid innovation and creating additional opportunities to supplement volumes, grow the business and drive outcomes.

    This position will have a relationship-oriented approach to client engagements ensuring Mom's Meals is recognized as an industry leader in quality, customer service, and nutritional support for high-risk Medicaid and LTSS members.


    Salary range:
    $75,000-95,000Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toEffectively present Mom's Meals products and services to a variety of key stakeholders within managed care organizations such as C-suite, clinical team, case managers, social workers, physicians, nurses and dietitiansSuccessful day-to-day account management and supportBuilding relationships and generating key contacts within existing and prospecting accounts Consistently utilize company programs and systems to maximize and prioritize each of the qualified Tier account engagements and create efficient pathways to schedule meetings and increase access for educational opportunities Build a schedule of staff meetings, in-service presentations and conferences where target audiences meet and coordinate presentation of our product and serviceDemonstrate strong sales effectiveness and prompt follow-up via telephone and emailVerbally and electronically summarize weekly sales activities and maintain CRM database documenting sales leads, sales call information and follow-upsTravel regionally on a weekly basis and nationally on an as needed basis to represent Mom's Meals at conferences or week-long sales routesContinual communication and alignment with Internal Client Support Managers around company defined account management metrics and CRM management expectationsRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience5 years' healthcare sales experience in areas such as managed care, long-term care, home health, home care, hospital or medical equipmentKnowledge of Medicaid/Medicare benefit programsDemonstrated experience consulting and presenting to care providers for high risk member populationsSincerity and passion about helping peopleExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong Microsoft office skills
    • Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with CRM, Salesforce or similar organizational sales softwareStrong background in Medicaid/Medicare and Managed Care organizations Clinical credentialing in Social Work, Nursing, or Nutrition and be able to communicate the critical importance of medical nutrition in reducing health care costs to this high risk populationFamiliarity and contacts within the specific regional market along with experience working in Medicaid service provisionWillingness to travel 20% of the time for day and overnight trips, both regionally and nationwideGood driving record and insurabilityPreferred Skills and ExperienceLicensed social workers or nursing case managers with customer relationship experience will be strongly consideredNon credentialed candidates will be considered if there is a passion and competency in consultatively networking and upselling SDOH benefits to field based Medicaid case managers and their supervisorsPhysical RequirementsRepetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersSedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periodsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusCompany OverviewMom's Meals is a home delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years.
