    NYU Langone Health is seeking a dynamic, full-time, Breast Surgeon to join the faculty at our NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn campus.

    The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and must also have exceptional outcomes, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the long-term development of a breast surgery program in the Brooklyn community.

    This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is interested in being part of a busy and growing practice in Brooklyn, New York.

    This position will include a faculty rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, commensurate with experience and achievements.


    Responsibilities:

    Provide clinical care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care, to patients in a collegial environment in conjunction with surgical, oncologic, and radiologic sub-specialists and support staffImplement and enforce institutional policies to ensure the provision of high quality, comprehensive patient careSupervise advance practice providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) at the clinical site as applicableSupervise residents, fellows, and advanced practice providersGenerate and support research initiatives.

    This includes clinical, outcomes, health services, basic science, translational, ethics, education, or health equityFoster a professional, collaborative work environment with all team members and colleagues
    Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Surgery and fellowship trained in Breast Surgery

    Faculty members must be committed to delivering high-quality clinical care that is of value to the patients in our community.

    In addition, faculty members are expected to participate in collaborative hospital-wide committees. The selected candidate must be team-oriented and be able to interact well with colleagues inside and outside the division.

    The position will be physically located at NYULH Brooklyn, one of the four hospitals within, the NYULH system in the New York metropolitan area, a provisional Level 1 Trauma Center in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn.
