**World Class Assisted Living Memory Care Community is presently seeking a Cook to join our Culinary / Dietary team in Azusa, CA**

**Summary of Major Functions:**

Prepares and cooks meals for the Community served.

**Education:**

High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required.

**Qualifications:**

Good verbal communication skills in order to facilitate conversations with staff, residents and family members.

Ability to read and understand menus and recipes, substituting equivalents of equal nutritional value when appropriate.

**Experience:**

One year food preparation and cooking experience including, but not limited to: grilling, sauting, broiling, frying, and baking is required.

**Other:**

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.

Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimers disease and other dementia-related disease.
