Job description

Job Summary:

This position will report to the Senior Director of FP&A and will serve as the business partner to the General Manager and lead a team of FP&A analysts supporting various plant operations.
This role will drive organizational impact by analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, driving cost-improvement initiatives, enhancing business partnerships, and delivering financial insights that enable strategic decision-making
. This is a highly visible and challenging position that engages with stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 3-4 plant-facing FP&A analysts
  • Serve as the primary business partner to the General Manager
  • Drive accountability and value-creating action through robust variance analysis, leveraging a
    deep understanding of the manufacturing process and business drivers
  • Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updates
  • Drive process improvements that result in standardization, efficiencies, and effectiveness
  • Develop business cases and financial support for capital appropriations and large-scale investments
  • Develop analysis and presentations to support plant and/or executive leadership including proactive and insightful analysis and commentary on results

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CMA designation or Lean Six Sigma (or other methodologies are a plus)
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A or other data/analysis intense field

  • Experience developing and leading teams
  • Well-developed financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Power BI, or Python is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and result driven action-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to do minimal travel (a few short trips per year)
