Position Summary:
We are seeking a CA licensed Physical Therapist - Lead to join our team for a full-time position in our Santa Clarita hospital.
Under the general direction of the Rehab Director, he/she serves as a practicing member of the Physical Therapy team (maintaining California state licensure) and supervises physical therapy assistants and physical therapy aides.
In addition, the Physical Therapist - Lead is responsible in facilitating learning for others within the service line and growing the program through marketing, physician relations, and mentorship.
Other administrative duties will be required, including but not limited to, review of staff members engaged in assisting patients in regaining or retaining their highest functional level considering their physical abilities and disabilities; establishing policies and procedures, standards, and objectives for the treatment of patients; evaluating the performance of staff members and maintaining the departmental Quality and Performance Improvement Program.
