    Ideal candidates would reside in any borough in New York City and should be willing to travel between them via public transportation for on-site visits.

    Purpose of the Position:
    The Housing Liaison/Coordinator is the primary liaison for the Division, managing all aspects of new/renewal lease processes and property management for Supportive Housing, reporting to the VP, Supportive Housing.

    Responsibilities:
    Act as liaison for Supportive Housing issues and concerns.
    Ensure timely response to maintenance and repair issues for clients.
    Manage new leases and renewals for Division apartments accurately and promptly.
    Provide VP with information on nonpayment of rent and legal matters.
    Assist in legal representation of our client on cases including hold-overs.
    Review and reconcile monthly reports, invoices, and rent collections.
    Participate in Housing Committee meetings and prepare minutes.
    Prepare ad-hoc reports/analyses as required.
    Outreach to landlords for apartment resources.
    Ensure landlord compliance with city codes and regulations.
    Assist in coordinating client satisfaction surveys and reports.
    Compile and analyze data for senior management.
    Coordinate lease-related activities and meetings.
    Organize annual Supportive Housing Landlords' Breakfast.
    Develop and update Housing and Community Resources Manuals.
    Ensure rents align with HUD guidelines and budgets.
    Monitor landlords for lead abatement compliance.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Functions:
    Ability to navigate stairs in Supportive Housing locations.
    Attendance at housing meetings, trainings, and client visits using public transportation.

    Qualifications:
    Comfortable working within a shelter environment.|
    Bachelor's degree and one year of housing-related experience.
    Knowledge of housing subsidies and supportive housing programs.
    Ability to network and build strong landlord relationships.
    Familiarity with entitlement systems, housing resources, and subsidies.
    Experience with case management for at-risk, homeless families.
    Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities and meeting deadlines.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    Effective team player.
    Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
