EHS Specialist II - Le Mars - Wells Enterprises

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities for their assigned facility.
• Communicate expectations, build relationships with personnel, and deliver EHS results through the implementation of EHS Management Systems (MS).
• Promote a culture of accountability and minimize/eliminate incidents by implementing EHS MS.

Accountability and Ownership:

• Drive accountability and ownership of EHS MS results for their assigned facility.
• Coach and direct facility leadership towards improved EHS performance.

EHS Expertise:

• Maintain a solid understanding of EHS MS and business processes.
• Align and execute direction based on business priority and strategy.

Risk Management:

• Recognize and manage EHS risks through prioritization.
• Establish a low or no-risk work environment.

Emergency Response:

• Respond to emergencies involving hazardous material releases, facility destruction, inclement weather, and property damage incidents.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine Root Cause and recommend corrective actions.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Coaching and/or ownership of PSM, RMP, Multisite locations, M&A, Wastewater, and Environmental responsibilities.
