- The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with all state, federal and local guidelines/regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
- Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro & dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, TPN, infectious disease, and wound care if applicable
- Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained
- Attends all mandatory in-services by the employee's anniversary date to include Alzheimer-specific training
