We are hiring for a Knowledge Manager, Journeyman level for a multi year federal program in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to development practices, processes, and written materials and who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
The selected candidate will serve as a knowledge management specialist, creating, developing, implementing, and maintaining a knowledge management program within Product Manager Multi-Mission Surveillance Systems (PDM-M2S2)
Enable collaboration of programmatic data to provide office leadership with relevant information to make informed decisions
Promote and assist with the use of internal knowledge management tools
Create, develop, implement, and maintain repeatable knowledge management best practices and processes for continual process improvement
Integrate information from throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal and external stakeholders
Duties Managing written and online communications to apply internal process improvement initiatives to process documentation when required
Identify opportunities to enhance process documentation and communicated resolution which will improve the process and provide a better user experience Constant communication between the Program Leadership and Program Team to support knowledge base content creation and maintenance
Identify opportunities to ensure compliance of operational documentation, reduce knowledge gaps due to lack of documentation, and support ad hoc documentation escalations
Creation, auditing, and maintenance of process documentation in the Program Office SharePoint repository (knowledge base).Create consumable materials with high accuracy to be utilized by internal programs and external stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and have a minimum of 3 years of Knowledge Management experience preferably supporting Army or other US Military organizations
An additional 3 years of relevant Knowledge Management experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Must currently have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance
Must have a fundamental understanding of military organizational dynamics
Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Prefer SharePoint Admin experience.
