Description
Job DescriptionThe role of Electrophysiology Physician Assistant (PA) is focused on providing support to the Electrophysiologist and clinical team during a wide range of electrophysiology procedures in the EP laboratory setting. This includes tasks such as maintaining a sterile field, prepping patients, and monitoring hemodynamics and EKGs. The PA will also be responsible for managing complications in the department, conducting procedures like CV and loop recorders, and working closely with the Director of Electrophysiology and the cardiology department. Additionally, the PA will be involved in various technical duties across multiple modalities including electrophysiology, pacemaker, ICD, Bi-V PPM, and ICD implants. They will also conduct device interrogations for different patient populations and assist in managing EP inventories.
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts required
