    Your role at Clorox:


    Whether your focus is on supply chain cost management, financial forecasting, long-range planning and analysis, or financial reporting, you'll work on assignments across the organization that will build your business knowledge, technical skills and leadership experience.


    Working as a key business partner across all of Clorox, you will facilitate business strategies and goals by translating operating activities and results into compelling consumer and business insights.

    As part of Finance, your insights will drive decision-making opportunities across the organization, and your influence will help the company build big-share brands that make everyday life better, every day.


    In this role, you will:


    Clorox Finance has a rapid rotation program, where you have a chance to rotate into new roles in Finance every 12-18 months.

    whether it is in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Leadership. In fact, several of the Company's senior leaders started their career at Clorox after graduating from college.

    Typical Entry Level Job Responsibilities:
    Report actual performance vs. forecast, including identifying key variance drivers
    Plan, execute and improve the quarterly financial forecasting and/or close process
    Prepare journal entries and monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
    Prepare and analyze volume shipment reports for senior management
    Ensure accuracy of cost and spending related accounts on financial statements
    Execute monthly and quarterly close in accordance with GAAP for revenue, deductions, trade spending, unsaleables, discounts and sales-related expenditures
    Use data analytics (PowerQuery, PowerBI, Power Automate) to perform data analysis and visualization
    Support financial statement preparation and maintain strong control environment
    Identify and influence system improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness
    Develop insights to drive the business

    What we look for:
    Education and Experience

    Completed Undergraduate or Master's degree preferably in business, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent work experience graduating by Aug 2024
    Cumulative GPA of 3.0
    12 credit hours of coursework in financial accounting, managerial accounting or corporate finance preferred
    Business work experience through internships, part-time or full-time work

    Highly desirable:
    Data analytics and/or database/ERP experience
    Demonstration of strong capabilities in the following areas:

    Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S.

    is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


    –Zone A:
    $62,500 - $111,300


    –Zone B:
    $57,300 - $102,000


    –Zone C:
    $52,100 - $92,700

    This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox's incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
