Our client, an established life sciences company, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives for their manufacturing site inSpringfield, MA
This is an onsite role:
Must Haves:
BS in Engineering (MBA is a plus).
10+ years of manufacturing experience.
5+ years leadership experience in Manufacturing and Engineering environments.
Experience implementing lean processes.
History of enhancing KPI performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Enhance operational effectiveness according to established performance indicators.
Implement lean processes via training, facilitation, and ongoing support, promoting productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Oversee the Operations budget.
Implement advanced manufacturing techniques to enhance quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
Optimize current facility capacity, and plan projects for further facilities growth.
Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives pertaining to New Product Development.
Cultivate a top-tier talent within Operations.
