    The Director of Medical Surgical Renal Transplant Unit is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient day-to-day operations of the medical department.

    You will collaborate with various medical professionals including nursing, medical, respiratory care, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and public relations to promote a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.


    Your primary responsibilities will include developing, monitoring, and analyzing budgetary goals and outcomes of the medical department, administering and appraising quality improvement within the services provided, and controlling processes related to human resources.


    You will also be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures, as well as developing disaster preparedness policies and procedures for the organization.

    Furthermore, you will collaborate, develop, and participate in the marketing of the department, including educational program development, external advertising, and working in alliance with local and regional programs.


    As the Director of Medical Surgical Renal Transplant Unit, you will hold others accountable for adhering to the goals, policies, and procedures of the organization, and you will lead by example.

    You should have a basic cardiac life support certification, be a registered nurse, and hold an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or registered nurse diploma.

    Additionally, you must have current RN licensure in Texas or a compact state.
