Job Title: Recreation Program Coordinator

Job Type: Part-Time

Description:

Do you have a passion for community recreational programs and providing leadership to program participants? If so, we are looking for a Recreation Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will plan, formulate, and implement various recreational activities while overseeing a team of leads, instructors, and volunteers. Join us in creating engaging programs for the community!

Examples of Duties:

Assigning schedules and supervising program staff
Assisting in program development and planning
Preparing lesson plans and ensuring program safety
Ordering supplies and equipment
Attending training and meetings
Performing other related tasks as needed

Typical Qualifications:

Minimum age of 21 and valid WA State license
Basic computer skills
High School Graduation or equivalent
CPR, AED, and First Aid certified
Valid Washington Driver's License with good driving record
Background check required

Work Environment and Physical Effort:

As a Recreation Program Coordinator, you will work in both indoor and outdoor settings, coordinating activities and ensuring participant safety. You must be in good physical condition, able to perform various physical tasks, and willing to work flexible hours based on program schedules.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Must be able to hear and see distress signals
Flexible work hours including early mornings, weekends, and evenings
