    About the Role

    As a Buyer at Pacific Rubber, you'll be part of the Procurement team responsible for forecasting raw material to support our business demand while ensuring high quality is at the forefront to meet customer satisfaction.

    The ideal candidate will be highly detailed oriented, and solution focused on delivering quality material to our customers. You'll have a proven track record of vendor management, conflict resolution and the ability to work collaboratively cross-functionally. This role reports to the Procurement Manager located in San Carlos, CA and is expected to be on-site however, may be able to work a hybrid model upon approval.

    The Buyer will have a high aptitude for delivery of raw material on time, support process improvement and implementation and has a knack for learning with the potential of career advancement and growth opportunity.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Evaluating and forecasting business demand to determine raw material requirement to support the influx flow of our customer's demands.
    • Proactively manages vendor relationships for on-time delivery.
    • Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure quality is delivered and we are servicing our customers with excellence.
    • Manages internal systems, procedures, and data with accuracy.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proficient in negotiating business strategy and methodology such as: price reduction and delivery of material tactics with vendors.
    • Highly attentive to data
    • Proficient in ERP System and Microsoft Suite
    • Has the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast and agile environment.

    Desired Qualification

    • Relative experience in Semiconductor, Manufacturing and/or Life science industry
    • Understands LEAN concepts.
    • Knowledge of ISO and IAFT Certifications
    • Ability to lead with integrity.

    Experience and Education:

    • Associate degree in Management or equivalent experience of at least 5-7 years. Industry experience is preferred
