    Job Description

    We are seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring a clean and comfortable space for our guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including kitchen areas, refrigerators, coffee makers, cups, glasses, silverware, and other amenities.
    • Notify supervisors when service is complete by punching rooms into the phone system.
    • Monitor and control supplies and amenities to minimize waste.
    • Report lost and found items according to established procedures.
    • Follow GDM and Forbes standards to ensure exceptional quality in every room.

    Requirements

    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous experience of one year preferred.
    • Understand and comply with company and departmental rules and regulations.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests.
    • Communicate effectively both written and verbally.
    • Reading and counting skills essential.
    • BASIC knowledge of housekeeping required.
    • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
    • Ability to work with others to create attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.

    Physical Demands

    • Position requires walking and standing most of the working day.
    • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.
    • Ability to multi-task in a calm manner on a timely basis.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill daily tasks.
    • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs throughout the day.
